Hey guys! We’re getting a lot of really great submissions these days, so I just wanted to take a moment to write up a brief guide on the quickest ways to get your work published on here. This is for a couple of reasons. my computer is broken, and I don’t have enough money to get it fixed (I have to wait on a friend.) There are a couple other people with posting access (and more coming soon), but life sometimes gets in the way, so streamlining things from the submissions side helps a lot. Because even when my computer is working, I can easily publish some submissions from my mobile no matter where I am so long as they follow a couple quick methods.
1) Upload your artwork to your tumblr and submit the url to us! Reblogging and tagging the characters is a breeze on mobile.
2) If you don’t have a tumblr or you’d just rather not go that route, many sites like deviantart and flickr have easy share options for tumblr that make posting on mobile super simple. If you use one of those sites, submit the url of the artwork. If the site has easy share options for tumblr but is not one I listed, just mention the easy share in your submission.
3) If none of those options work for you or you’d just prefer to submit directly to the blog, it’s easiest if you submit as a photo (if possible) and please add a caption linking to your portfolio/tumblr/email or whatever source you would prefer. The reason for this being that we like to source all submissions, but the tumblr app does not show who submits these pieces for whatever godawful reason. I have to wait until I can hop onto a computer to see who to give credit to.
There are a few posts in the drafts that are waiting for me to get on a computer, but I hope to have them cleared up soon. Following these tips is not required, but any submissions that follow them are being placed into the queue almost immediately at this point, so if you’d like to see yourself on here ASAP, just pick your poison :)
