I did some character art based how Tyrion Lannister appears in my head, as I’m reading the books. Of all the characters, he probably differs the most in the show. Peter Dinklage is great, don’t get me wrong, and his voice is absolutely perfect. He’s just too darned handsome.
I should note that in my reading, I look a liberty of my own. (spoiler) The book says that Tyrion has half his nose cut off, but it doesn’t really clarify which half. I though it would be much more grisly a face if the top half were gone.
I don’t have a clear image in my head of what Drogon should look like so I kept it ambiguous here. I also took a picture of my hand and arm as reference for Arya’s pose, but given that it’s pretty generic- it looks similar to this tutorial I saw online of people holding weapons.
Ghost was curled up asleep beside the door, but he lifted his head at the sound of Jon’s boots. The direwolf’s red eyes were darker than garnets and wiser than men. Jon knelt, scratched his ear, and showed him the pommel of the sword. “Look. It’s you.” Ghost sniffed at his carved stone likeness and tried a lick. Jon smiled. “You’re the one deserves an honor,” he told the wolf… and suddenly he found himself remembering how he’d found him, that day in the late summer snow. - A Game of Thrones, George R.R.
